About Daycare

The Child Development Laboratory School (CDLS) is home to a high-quality early care and education program that has been serving the University of Minnesota and Twin Cities communities for nearly 100 years. CDLS offers a part-day preschool program for children 2-5 that is available to all families throughout the Twin Cities; a Dakota Language Immersion program for children 3-5; and a full-day, year-round early childhood education program for students, staff, and faculty affiliated with the University of Minnesota.
